The scientific discussion we had with her was very nice. It was a pleasure to have her visiting us. The photo was taken in a restaurant in Rome.

Heiko LICKERT

On February 14th 2014, Prof Heiko Lickert from the Institute of Diabetes & Regeneration Research (Munich, Germany) gave an excellent seminar on "Beta cell development and regeneration". The scientific discussion we had with him was very interesting. It was a pleasure to have him visiting us. The photo was taken after our dinner in Rome.

Eran HORNSTEIN

Dr Eran Hornstein from the Weizmann Institute of Science came on the 28th of June to give us a very nice seminar on miRNAs and their role in differentiation and adult cell identity. The quality of his research was impressive and we gained new insights on the functions of miRNAs. The scientific discussion with him was enlightening. The photo was taken in the lab.

Achim LEUTZ

Pr Achim Leutz from the Max Delbrueck Center for Molecular Medicine came on the 14th of May to give us an excellent seminar on the transcription factor C/EBPbeta and myeloid plasticity. The quality of his research was impressive and we gained precious insight on epigenetics and cell differentiation. We had a great pleasure to have him in Monterotondo. The photo was taken in the garden of our institute.

Frank ROSENBAUER

On the 11th of January, we had the pleasure to host Prof. Frank Rosenbauer from the University of Muenster in Germany. He gave us a very interesting seminar about the molecular mechanisms that control hematopoietic stem cell function and leukemia development. The photo was taken the evening before in Rome.

Anna BIGAS

On the 23rd of November 2012, we had the pleasure to host Dr Anna Bigas from the IMIM in Barcelona. She talked about a very impressive work on the role of Notch in the regulation of hematopoietic stem cell development in the mouse embryo. The scientific discussion with her was very fruitful. The photo was taken the night before in a nice restaurant in the center of Rome.

Mark Coles

It was a pleasure to host Dr Mark Coles from the University of York on the 28th of September 2012. He gave us a very interesting seminar on lymphoid organogenesis. We enjoyed the scientific discussions we had with him. The photo was taken in a traditional Roman restaurant.

Iannis AIFANTIS

On the 3rd of July 2012, we had the pleasure to host Pr Iannis Aifantis from the New York University School of Medicine.
